  1. MAY 2013 (Because somehow I forgot April) Starting: 2525 Current: 3025 Gains: -+500 monthly allowance Losses: *No comment* Gift Cards: 2013/2013 MechDev Gift Card: Santa's Lap Anno 2013
  2. That longer while is not quite a while anymore, but it appears I don't have much of a choice. Forfeit accepted... *Le sigh*
  3. Ah ha ha... I saw the second mod approval has already been done. Don't I feel sheepish. Unless the combination attacks have to be resolved/statted now (and can't be added later), consider these paid. If not, I'll wait for those attacks to get statted before paying.
  4. MARCH 2013 Starting: 2025 Current: 2525 Gains: -+500 monthly allowance Losses: Seriously? I've got to spend something soon Gift Cards: 2013/2013 MechDev Gift Card: Santa's Lap Anno 2013
  5. Okay, Duel of Death (Archon Mark II) and Absolute Rivalry Conclusion (X-Archon) are done. If the descriptions are slightly lengthy, my apologies. Striking a balance between completion and clarity is hard. If there are any problems caused by the Twinrey and Twinseraph: That's the reason why I was reluctant on doing it immediately. I hope the statting isn't too difficult. It shouldn't be when there's plenty of attacks like it.
  6. Okay then, I'll get to it.
  7. I'll keep this brief: So what you're saying, is that I can in fact refer to units that I still have to dev? Because I'll have you know, those units are from a different series (The Twinrey and Twinseraph from the LSX series), and with the CSTX series far from complete, they are not going to exist anytime soon too. With that in mind, should I add the attacks or not?
  8. As much as I'd want to counter this... I really can't, so leaving this to the one who approves sounds reasonable to me. Okay then. Totally forgot there could have been a in-game reason. While my logic center still aches from it all, let's just leave this to whoever approves. ...So I am expected to read every single dev after all? I did read a couple of devs though, and not a single one helped me solve that dilemma. Whatever the case, I'll take that answer as "You should (have)".
  9. Thank goodness the devving is mostly round. Now let's hope I'm not being unreasonable here so that I may actually pay for these three soon. ^_^

Of course, there's also the possibility I have to be patient. :-|

And the possibility I'm not paying attention and miss the fact it has already been second-approved

Looks like the first option, since it'll probably take a while for v4 MechDev to happen.

  10. Date: 26-2-2013 Weapon/Ability Property in question: X-Archon's cost Issues with Weapon/Ability property: The X-Archon is not part of any (normal) production line. Thus, you don't just purchase it. Possible Solution: Like I would swear I pointed out, just give it an evolution cost, like 5. Reasoning for Solution: To further elaborate on what I had stated with the issue, the X-Archon is the result of the repairs and modifications to Franz's Archon Mark II after it got absolutely wrecked. This: may have caused confusion, but ultimately, I envisioned the X-Archon to be a special customized unit comparable to the Alt Eisen Riese. Again, sorry for the confusion. I promise that for these three devs, it will be the last. Date: 26-2-2013 Weapon in question: Heat Katar and Smelter Blade Issues with Weapon: I feel it's illogical that a weapon capable of swift attacks doesn't get an accuracy bonus, when a slower and heavier weapon like the rev stake gets a good bit of accuracy. If there's reasoning for it, I'd like to hear it. It'd likely render this issue void. Possible Solution: Just a bonus. Even if it is a mere 10% I'm happy. Reasoning for Solution: Once again, I can't possibly imagine that a light weapon, attached to an arm, no less, is inaccurate. To be precise, less accurate than weapons like the Jet Magnum and the Rev Stake (which is heavy and HAS to be predictably jabbed with). In contrast with the last issue, this one isn't too urgent. If one doesn't want to fix it, it's alright, although I'd prefer it for the sake of logic. That said, I'm already quite thankful that the devving is done. Barring these small issue, everything else looks reasonable and I'd pay for it (once another mod has approved it, that is). EDIT: The Archon Mark II and X-Archon also have combo attacks. I know I'm supposed to submit combo attacks with the submission, but I can't really refer to a unit that doesn't exist, right? That is why those haven't popped up in the submission. If I am expected to come up with them now, just say so.
  11. FEBRUARI 2013 Starting: 1525 Current: 2025 Gains: -+500 monthly allowance Losses: Still none O_o Gift Cards: 2013/2013 MechDev Gift Card: Santa's Lap Anno 2013
  12. We take a slight break from the development of the CSTX series, because XN Geist is working on a Soulverse Original based on a series that doesn't exist yet. Thus, I remedy it. Mind you, this is not yet a submission. Series Background - LUGH Stratagem Units: Setting: Same thing as CSTX Earth Space Era War technology slowly advances as humanoid weapons are being made. Some institutes have a major role in the development of the mecha. Other companies can't keep up with the advance. One of these companies is the British LUGH, whose rivalry with the Irish CONCOBOR kept it from important matters at times. This lasted until the L5 campaign, when the companies decided they would settle their feuds as the rest of the earth had done. The LUGHOBOR alliance was the result. During the six months of peace, the LUGH, which was superior with mecha compared to the CONCOBOR, would work on the LUGH Stratagem Units. This series would focus on the strategic ability of the pilot. Stratagem Units would be decent by themselves, but in the right hands, they would be utter menaces that are able to fight at any range. The first of the LSX series, the Avalon, was finished late during the second war. Like most units used in the endeavours of the heroes of the earth, it was very capable and showed quality over quantity. With effective weapons, good mobility, and various defensive measures, it would be able to make a difference. It's also the first unit installed with the LUGH's double image device known as the F.T-E System. LSX-001 Avalon (Impression TBD) Performance: The original Avalon model is quite capable, although a lot of its performance depends on the strategic sense of the pilot. It is a mobile machine, and the mobility helps with the many required manoeuvres. While its armor isn't that great, its secondary defences definitively are, with a jammer, a beam coat and the ability to create double images. On the offensive side, the Avalon isn't likely to hit in devastating fashion, but in the right hands it's accuracy is amazing. Other similar "strategic" units would be the Soldefar, Ashkleef and Ashsaber units. The Soldefar would be clearly out of its league against most Avalon pilots. Of those three, the Ashkleef would be more or less on the same level while the Ashsaber outclasses it some. (Why the Ashkleef and Ashsaber are similar ranks anyway I don't know.) Weapons: Vulcan: The vulcans in the head, while weak, ensure the Avalon always has something to retaliate with. (I really need not explain a vulcan, thank you. I'm not even sure if players would use the thing) Unity Sentinel: The Avalon detaches the three Unity Sentinels from it's shoulders and chest, which then head for the target(s) to shoot energy bolts at it from many sides. It's not easy to dodge, but by themselves, the Sentinels aren't that powerful, which why it is recommended to utilize the Strategic Union when you release them. (A very accurate attack, but slightly weaker than the Beam Scorpion. Probably costs a little energy. I can see this being an X and S attack for obvious reasons, although it's going to be really weak when you spread it) Beam Scorpion: The Avalon shoots long beam lances from the beam cannons on its arms on the fly. (More or less the shadow lance, really, although it shoots more lances, has more rounds, and may be stronger in the end) Silver Blade: The Avalon pulls out a metal longsword, and strikes the target with it. (...Just treat it like a decent sword) Avalon Longbow: The Avalon unlocks the channeling bracelet on its arm, channels energy into arrows for the Avalon Longbow, and fires the arrows one by one. (You can treat it like the Illusion Arrow, although this weapon may be fast instead) Strategic Union: This is the way the Unity Sentinels were meant to be used. The Avalon detaches them and sends them to attack a single target. It then follows, channelling a lot of arrows for the Avalon Longbow, which it then fires in a combined assault with the Sentinels. (Yup, there's the ultimate attack, somewhat heavy on the energy cost. Don't go overboard with it, however, because the attack isn't overly powerful. It probably deals damage in multiple longbow hits and multiple sentinel hits, and in total it might end up near or very near the Splash Breaker in destructiveness) Frame and Systems: Frame: For maximum mobility, the frame had to be as light as possible. As a result, the Avalon is rather fragile and relies on its secondary defenses. (The HP would be Real Robot level, but it might end up low because (according to what I wrote about the armor) the Avalon doesn't have many hits to take. It'd be no less of a glass cannon than the Weiss is.) Armor: As with the frame, the LUGH had little choice but to make the armor as light as possible to achieve the mobility the Avalon needed. Should an attack get past the secondary defenses, it is very likely to seriously damage the Avalon. (No armor bonus here, obviously.) Mobility systems: The avalon has two booster wings on its back, with some more boosters in between. It also has some servo motors to further enhance its mobility. In the end, it makes the lightweight Avalon very nimble and capable of hovering. (So yeah, here's where the Avalon is going to shine. It's going to be a bit slower if not as quick as the Weissritter.) Beam Coat: One of the three secondary defenses of the Avalon is a strong beam coat to alleviate the damage of beam attacks, so it can easier pull off whatever is the winning move without worrying about incoming beams too much. (Definitively a medium beam coat.) Jammer: While the Avalon is very mobile, missiles can still cause it trouble. Thus it was equipped with a jammer, forcing enemies to rely on their aim. (...Gee, do I really need to explain what a jammer does?) F.T-E System: In full False Trail-Emission System, this system makes the Avalon capable of creating short-lived after-images. It does this by forcing particles out of the Avalon while it is moving, leaving an "illusion" not unlike a fata morgana. (So, yeah, double image. I guess it's going to be fairly cheap, about as cheap as Aile or maybe less cheap, your call)
  13. Boy, devving is confusing as heck... But I will manage it eventually!

  14. I will keep it brief: Points taken, good catches, et cetera. Engines often won't do anything else for the statting. Before I start reworking the entries, any other problems? Anyway: The Solar Core will be elaborated upon. More or less DONE Flight shall now be limited to the X-Archon, because I figured it was nice but not necessary for the Mark II. DONE. Let's hope it has been justified proper. I will try and include thrusters/boosters et cetera. Be warned: That's likely going to suck, because I haven't been technical with that very often. DONE Also, I'll slim down the descriptions where possible. More or less DONE (PS: Geez, I suck ballz sometimes)
  15. Anyone care to explain how these spambots got through? Because they are already at 50+ posts and will seriously flood the board. Oh, and ban/delete them in any case. Thank you very much ^^
