  5. TenRyuJin The missile launcher rotates internally bringing forward another bay of missiles to launch, before sending the ignition signal... and the series of missiles are interrupted by the particle cannon! Dropping flat against the battlements of the castle for a moment,, the energy-radiating TenRyuJin takes a moment to take stock of its stores of missiles, before muttering something as she begins to manually reload. A sharp comment follows, however, as she rises up again, "I won't let this stop my COURAGE!" And with that, a brilliant beam lances out from the Ryujin, bouncing not off the mirrors of the Ciepool no Ame... but rather, off the sensor arrays of the Rewlooia! The shot angles, coming back around to rake across the Grand Zam, which bounces back again to the Rewlooia, and so on, before homing in on a concentrated burst through the Grand Zam's armor! 10. Stalbots Legions of terrible Stalbots are what are sent to slay the opponents of Ganondorf. At first, he moves them in secrecy, and then openly. In order to better assist in their secrecy, many of them are cloaked in veils of flesh, leading to the terrifying Lizalbots and Wolbots. However, upon destruction of their external facade, they too reveal their true nature as a Stalbot. Bone Claw - Swinging an open hand, it can slash at an opponent with metal-tipped bone fingers. Bone-Metal Sword - Pulling out one of its bladed ribs to wield as a weapon, it can cut and thrust. Bone-Metal Shield - Shouldering a metal-reinforced scapula onto its arm, improbably, this metal shield lets the Stalbot take withering hits, even from the hero's Kokiri Sword. Frame - Towering over the Hylion and many other mecha, the Stalbot comes in at roughly 12 meters, depending on its exact construction. It is fashioned of bits of metal, often awkwardly placed, and either the bones of many creatures or some long-forgotten race. Altogether, it is quite durable. It's quite clearly Undead. Reassemble - Possibly the worst aspect of the Stalbot is the fact that it will gradually pull itself back together as the reanimating forces that bind it to its existence will only very reluctantly let go. Only complete destruction of the animating spell can banish a Stalbot. This specifically should work as a "respawn" effect, not just HP Regen. Shallow Grave - Stalbots have been known to bury themselves into the ground in order to avoid attention. As Burrow. Hone Gattai - The Stalbot can connect with several other Stalbots to form a Stalmashin when a particularly terrible spirit in Ganondorf's army bids them to assume a form capable of holding its dark majesty, if only for a while. The Stalmashin is much like a Stalbot, but enormously larger and stronger. Rise from the Grave - While it is easy to tell that something is wrong when a Stalbot is near... the unsettling aura of death and despair that pervades their typical haunts is quite telling... you still don't exactly know where they are going to come from, and it is possible to seemingly destroy a Stalbot only for it to rise up again after you right after you thought you killed it. Stalbots are exceptionally good at executing these surprise attacks. Placed last for clarity. This attack is usable only if the Stalbot was burrowed for an entire turn, is animating itself, or if it is going first in a fight, and automatically removes the burrowed status. Lizalbots Lizalbots are mostly as-per Stalbots. They serve as eptilian skins over the skeletal Stalbots. It is not certain what their exact relationship to the Stalbots is, however, as they seem to predate it somehow. Abilities - Essentially as per Stalbot. However, the frame is much tougher and stronger due to the reinforcing scales, and the actual presence of muscle in addition to magic fueling the horrible biomechanical construct. It lacks the advantages of being only half-there, however, and as such lacks Rise from the Grave, Reassemble, Shallow Grave, or Hone Gattai. It also has Terrible Maw. Lizard Claw - Per Bone Claw, but generally stronger due to actual formation of claws and muscled backing. Lizard Sword - It's got one, and is a little bit better at swinging it than the Stalbot. There's some kind of strange serpent design at the hilt. Shield - ... Yep. It has one. Terrible Maw - The Lizalbot can open its mouth and bite down with several enormous teeth, tearing out chunks of metal or flesh. It seems to hunger for these bites, greedily guzzling down ruptured fuel and devouring hydraulic muscle eagerly. Undeath Beneath - The Lizalbot, when damaged sufficiently, will reveal the horrific abomination that lies beneath it, reverting into a Stalbot. Wolbots Believed to be some kind of wolf-god or behemoth, whatever their former existence it is now cursed and damned to be a slave of the Demon King, Ganondorf. These too, when their flesh is broken Wolf Claws - Unlike the Bone Claw or Lizard Claw, the Wolbot almost exclusively uses these for its weapons, and does not encumber its hands with shield or sword. Lunge - The Wolbot will on occasion pounce on the back of an enemy, trying to knock them down and tear them apart. Slavering Jaws - Per Terrifying Maw. Keening Howl - This howl can either rally other Wolbots to its side or demoralize enemies that hear it. Frame - About as large as the Stalbot, but stronger than it due to having more muscle and power in its frame. It is not as well-armored as the Lizalbot, however, though it does not give up, like that one. Undeath Beneath - The Wolbot, when damaged sufficiently, will reveal the horrific abomination that lies beneath it, reverting into a Stalbot.
  11. runic coding. Master Hylion Abilities Totsugeki- Like in the first, except being slammed into by the Master Hylion is a much, much different experience. Say, crushing. Master Sword - Internally, As the Kokiri Sword, but much more effective. The hero is still a lefty. Great Spin - An attack that cuts through several opponents. The Master Sword leaves a shimmer in its wake. With focus, the blade can also be charged with the power of the Divine Jewels to increase the area and damage of its cut, an orange-gold blaze following in the wake of the weapon which ripples outward in a spiral wave. Leaping Slash - He still can execute this attack, of course, though it is greatly enhanced by the increased weight and leverage of the machine. Mortar Cannons - A set of mortar cannons are mounted on each of its shoulders, which launch immense explosive rounds through the air to bombard a target. Fairy Ballista- A blessed crossbow mounted on the left arm of Master Hylion. It has several marks of reverence to the goddess Farore along it. Fire Bolt- An arrow is loaded and the tip enchanted with the blazing power of Din. Where the arrow strikes, and in a small wave out from that point, things are lit. The damage is significant compared to the normal ballista. Ice Bolt- An arrow is loaded and the tip enchanted with the cooling water of Nayru. If it strikes an opponent, they are trapped inside an icy prison... essentially, they enjoy the "protection" of Nayru's Love, which stops them from going anywhere. Master Strike! Sacred Evil-Destroying Sword - Two slashes and a stab. Destroys Ganon. Giant's Knife - Omake attack. He uses this to defeat one of the monsters in the series. It doesn't resurface again. Extra materials (including a one-shot manga) depicts him with Biggoron's Sword, a reforged version of this weapon, more massive yet. Goron's Hammer - Crushes through armor! Spirit Gauntlets - The power of the Spirit Gauntlets that the Master Hylion becomes equipped with lets him lift things even wildly out of proportion with its size, making grappling with other robots and hurling them around a feasible measure. Other Powers Hylion Shield - Hylion gets its own shield instead of using improvised wooden results, deploying this metal defense. Din's Inferno - A power that draws on the strength of the Goron's Ruby, the inner fire of Darunia's spirit, and through them the goddess Din. BREASTO FIYAH. Nayru's Love - A defense that invokes the power of the Zora's Sapphire and the love that Princess Ruto feels to her engaged, and through them the goddess Nayru. A translucent blue crystal shape forms around Master Hylion, protecting him from attack. The barrier cuts both ways, though (something about Ruto not wanting him to do in dangerous things), and Link must lower it in order to strike. Farore's Wind - The power to escape, usually to retreat from battle on the rare occasions when his courage told him that he must return to fight again. It carries Hylion away as a zephyr, though it is unclear whether the mecha is insubstantial or just moving rapidly during this time. The hero could also play the Ocarina of Time to invoke a more complicated rede that caused Hylion to move to distant places, by programming the effect with the notes of the song. Eyes of Truth - A visor that is deployed over Master Hylion's features, and can be activated to engage the ability to perceive hidden things and see through disguises. Used to defeat the abominations that lurk in the Shadow Temple and restore it. Navi - Still there! Frame - OH GOD. Winged Boots: Master Hylion can engage what appears to be a pair of glowing wings on his boots. These allowed Master Hylion to glide across the ground, and generally move in a way its enormity would not suggest possible However, judging by the amount of time the machine spends walking around, and its refusal to simply drift into the sky, the wings appear to not grant the ability to fly into the sky outright. Zora Gear: While initially facing troubles submerging into the sea, Master Hylion is repaired and has the Zora Gear installed. With this optional equipment deployed, he can freely face the water, giving it the ability to move like a submarine, taking on or offloading ballast as necessary. It also came with the installation of the Anchor Shot. Goron Equipment: The Goron Equipment installation was done to give Master Hylion resistance to the unbearable heat at the heart of the volcano, in which it did battle with Volvagia, and reinforce it again so even the pressure of molten metal would not break it, and it could function (relatively) normally in the extreme heat, performing its attacks as usual. Mounts on Epona, Fuunsaiki-style
  12. Episode Guide Episode 1 - The Hero's Link! The pilot episode! It opens on Mido and his gang driving around being hellraisers in Kokiri Village. They pick on the "cursed boy", who is haunted by terrible dreams of a princess being captured. Saria helps him up, but is soon called away. While in a slump, the cursed boy meets Navi, an equally lonely fairy, and the two agree to be partners. After dusting off an abandoned buggy and slapping together some less-than-impressive parts, he makes the grand reveal of... the Bugnavi?!. A comic scene of the nameless boy painting on various names on the wooden plating on the side and trying them to an increasingly unamused Navi is interrupted by Mido's gang. A fight breaks out, and the Nameless Boy reveals an astonishing capability that even he is not aware of! Through a mysterious power, he causes the machine to transform into a towering armored knight, with the Nameless Boy at its heart! ( Note, the cursed boy never appears to directly speak. ) Episode 2 - The Kokiri's Emerald! The Great Deku Tree's Request After soundly thrashing Mido, and then the entirety of his gang, a rather battered machine hauls its pilot to the foot of the Great Deku Tree, who explains his history to him, and sheds some light on the nature of the "Link Circuit." However, at the end of this explanation, he asks Nameless to enter into and purge the darkness from the heart of it. He does so, and after fighting the vicious monster at the center of it, emerges with the Kokiri Emerald. Saria throws her ocarina into his vehicle as he drives off in search of a mysterious princess. Episode 3 - Lon Lon Ranch! The Shrine of the Steed Nameless Boy goes driving around in his ATV across the countryside, coming on to the strange Lon Lon Ranch, and witnessing the giant iron steed enshrined there. He plays his Ocarina along with Malon and learns the song of praise to the giant steed there, which one of the horses oddly responds to. When a giant Stalrobo threatens the town, the Nameless Boy must spring into action and defeat it! This episode features his "final attack" of throwing a deku nut and springing into a slashing attack. Episode 4 - Hyrule Castle Town! The rats of the arcade! This episode features the Nameless Boy... goofing around. He passes under the shadow of a giant cannon that looms over Hyrule Castle Town, and the shrine constructed around it. Navi, throughout the episode, asks whether he's going to get on with the saving the world business. After playing a game where he shoots targets with a sling for a while, he discovers the Kokiri Emerald was stolen! Investigating the matter, he goes off to get some rats, which appear to have it. Under some dark power, using the stolen Kokiri Emerald, however, they form into a giant rat with a bomb for a tail! The Boy fights it using Hylion and defeats it. One game operator is seen inspecting it surreptitiously at the end. Episode 5X - Infiltration! Rescuing the Princess! After the intermission of the last episode, the Boy becomes more determined than before to actually... save the world. Funny that. However, incapable of presenting a good explanation for why he can enter the gate, the guards turn him away. After sitting on this question for a while, the boy looks up at the giant cannon overshadowing Hyrule Castle Town... and gets an idea. He drives his ATV off of its peak, landing square in the royal garden! After a moment of stillness, he hears a voice calling for help. A strange black robot is there, struggling to stop the princess from being taken by a couple of Stalrobos. A rapid transformation into Hylion follows, and it joins with the mysterious robot in rescuing the princess. Later, they reveal themselves to be the Princess Zelda (of course) and her handmaiden Impa, and Zelda explains that she has seen the boy in her dreams as a hero who will save Hyrule, before telling him what he must do to gain the power of the Temple of Time to defeat Ganondorf.
  13. Toki no Yuusha! Hylion A nameless boy in the village of the Kokiri faces off against the go-kart-gangs raising hell from the Lost Woods, and reveals he is the one chosen by fate, the bearer of the Link Circuit! With this and the help of the fairy Navi, he connects with the ancient technology buried inside the Kokiri-kart he has put together, transforming buggy and boy into the hero, Hylion! Urged onwards by terrible dreams which connect him through time and space, and the words of mysterious advisers and ancient sages, he goes on a quest to awaken the only power that can stop the villainous Ganondorf and his armies of robot mecha, the Temple of Time... also known as the Time Tank! Hylion The Hylion is the seemingly unassuming Kokirikart, powered by fairy magic, combined with the Link Circuit and its heroic bearer. Brass railings and pieces slide in to frame a bold face. Makeshift wooden spoilers are refitted into a shield. A bladed bumper reformats itself into a plain, short sword. Over the course of the series of Toki no Yuusha Hylion, more and more pieces are added to this basic machine. Attacks: Totsugeki - Especially in the first episode, the hero of the story shows nothing against ramming his mecha directly in to his opponent. Not the best attack, as he often causes as much damage to himself as the enemy in the ensuing fray, but sometimes a battle is only won by courage. Kokiri Sword - He goes at his opponent with a cut, or three, his blade tracing and flashing through the air rapidly with every strike. While merely an unrefined series of thrusts and slashes, his great vigor can bring down an opponent.. Interestingly, Hylion's pilot (or core, depending on how you see it) is left-handed, which often forces other melee opponents off-balance due to having to adjust to his different style. Spin Attack - This technique is believed to be an ancestral legacy of a knightly order, and is one that the hero is oddly adept at. He twists and whirls in a circle, allowing him to cut through several attackers approaching him at once. Leaping Slash - The decisive action! The hero musters all of his strength and leaps forward, slicing through the air. This can easily cut into an opponent... Sling - Hylion improvises this out of some twisted metal and a leathery thong. While it is not the most impressive weapon, the Hylion can load whatever is found into it and hurl it with great force, usually large, boulder-sized rocks. Deku Nut - Hylion holds many containers on it, and usually these large nuts, acquired from the old tree of life and the vile growths left across the coutnryside in the wake of its death, are inside one of them. These can be flung with the sling for additional range, or simply hurled when such is not necessary. When it strikes, it releases all the magical power of the Tree of Life, or Deku Tree, exploding with a flash and a clap of sound, usually dizzying thing caught in the center of it. Fairy Boomerang - This oversized boomerang is fashioned in Hylion's journeys, and is inherently tied to the fairy magic that powers the machine. Thus, when it is thrown, it always finds its way back, moving at even impossible angles for any curve to make, as if it possessed a life of its own. Bomb Grenades - A bandolier of these is draped around the Hylion's hips. Often loaded into the sling for increased range (again), they can simply be hurled, and explode with enough violence to break open cliffsides. They look rather comically crude and ancient. Bombchu - A puzzling invention, the nameless hero acquires these from a game arcade of all things, and normally personally hauls them around. He started loading them into the Hylion's "pockets," however, when they came in handy in defeating a giant monster. The things are akin to the crude grenades he uses, but self-willed, seemingly, moving towards whatever target they are told to acquire by Hylion, though they still blow up after a certain amount of time. Uprooted Tree - Given the exceptionally vernal terrain of the land that Hylion adventures in, this attack sees quite a bit of use. Hylion rips off a large branch or even uproots a small (by the standards of huge things) tree and goes to town with it on a giant monster. Other Stuff Frame - Hylion only stands about 6 meters. However, it is surprisingly durable, capable of withstanding assaults that could quite reasonably scrap any other machine. Deku Shield - This shield is big enough to give Hylion room to crouch behind, but it is unfortunately made of wood, and thus not terribly durable. It is well-constructed enough to take a few hits. Idle scenes of the hero often see him improvising a replacement shield and marking it with the same crest of the Kokiri. Navi - "Hey!" "Hey!" "Listen!" "Look out!" This small, glowing blue fairy chirps warnings whenever the boy is in danger and also can expound in great detail on the opponent's various weak points and possibly tactics to use against them. She is also (to the hero's sometimes disappointment) completely vital to the mecha's function, as she provides the power source, and due to her odd connection with time, never seems to run out. Fuel Injectors - Incorporated into the Kokirikart originally, the Hylion has a couple of large tanks on either side of it that appear to be some kind of fuel injectors. However, they are invariably filled with one of the many magical fuels in the world of Hyrule, serving as auxiliary boosts of courage or health when the hero is in dire need. Toki no Gattai - Unbeknownst to the hero, when he acquires the power of the three Divine Jewels, and heads to the Temple of Time, he will not get the result that he is expecting, instead drawing forth the power of Master Hylion as he activates a combination sequence buried within the machine's ancient runic coding, assuming a battle-form nearly ten times the height of the original Hylion.
