The massive swarms of BETA stir into a frenzy as the Susanoo Hachigata and the squads make their hold on the moon's surface.
It seems like they've managed to catch the swarms off-guard with their strategy and bombardments, expected since the BETA on the Moon shouldn't have any data of humanity's strategies from battle with the Earth surface BETA.
However, it soon became apparent that the advantage wasn't as great as it should have been. The one of the swarm groups seemed to have almost merged with another in its effort to rush at the Susanoo, taking suppressive fire meant for the other swarm.
In fact, despite all the S-11 bombardments, it seems that they're all immediately attracted to Gray-11 given off by the ship's engines and weapons.

Ignorant of the danger, the second designated swarm took the S-11 bombardment squarely to the face, sending various smaller BETA and their pieces flying into the moon's vacuum atmosphere. Some seemed to float off uncontrollably into space, but soon everyone realized that BETA gore and blood weren't the only thing to float and fall back. Countless Tank-class, the Equis Pedis are floating uncontrollably everywhere, latching into whatever enemy or ally they can find.

Flying was no longer a safe haven from their bite.

Meanwhile, on the ground. Hordes of Medium-class, the Grapplers were being ripped apart as the Alphard, Susanowo and Exia come swooping in with their swords brandished in search of the dangerous Laser-classes. The 00 Gundam trails behind the formation warily with its sword drawn as well.

Blocking their way, however, were the Destroyer-class Ruitares and their almost impenetrable armored carapace.

Coloured sparks of GN particles saturate the vacuum, mixing with the ripped flesh and spraying blood of the BETA.

The first designated swarm took even greater damage from the S-11 bombardments due to area overlapping with the one aimed at the second swarm... and in a similar fashion, sent countless of the Tank-class flying through the air.

However, many of the Laser-class survived, and quickly began lighting up the dark skies with its optical beams, aimed at the crafts responsible for the bombardments.

Gray-11 radiation from the Susanoo Hachigata's Gravity Missiles have begun to draw BETA from this swarm towards it too.
