The most fundamental rules of the Book of Records are the Principles. These are simple principles to guide any other rules that the Recordkeepers might agree on.
Principles of the Book of Records:
1. Real. It can't be a hypothetical setup, it must be the real article.
Example: A Dynamic Pilot can inflict 1 million damage given a certain unit with certain items and certain skills and certain spirit commands. This means nothing until someone actually deploys and uses it in a legal fight. Until then, the claim is invalid.
2. Confirmable. The math must be something we can check. If it can't be confirmed by an observer, then it is not qualified for the book.
Example: A record attempt is made and the poster claims to be able to inflict 1 million damage. Her math is checked, and it turns out to be a mere 999,998 damage, failing to top the record for 999,999 damage. Her claim is invalidated.
3. Meaningful. It must be something extraordinary, that only shows up as a fairly unique phenomena. If everyone can do it, it's pointless.
Example: A poster with a 10,000 HP unit takes 9999 damage, reducing him to 1 HP. He claims to have the least surviving HP in the SimChamber. However, it is also possible to duplicate this effect by using Tenkawa's Special Ramen, a rank 3 perishable, and taking any amount of (fatal) damage. The poster's claim is invalidated.
Joining the SimChamber Book of Records
There are two ways to be part of the SimChamber Book of Records. The first, and most obvious way is to get your name into the book of records. Currently. his is done by simply placing a claim, citing the post where the claim is demonstrated, and getting verification by a moderator (if necessary) and a recordkeeper.
The second way is to be a recordkeeper. What this means is that you help maintain the records, discuss the rules of the records, and even devise new ways for people to compete for records, such as inventing categories and so on.

If assault counts Awaken, carry on from that too, 315117 damage.
And Tilus could probably get a record for lowest DP or most attacks dodged or something like that for his defense.
I bet Eis or Regris wins that wealthy one.
