The Simchamber vs the Unidentified Walking Mech

Location: The deserts of Nevada (Desert terrain)

Players: Anybody and everybody! Bring yourself! Bring a friend! Bring someone back from retirement! So long as you have a Simchamber account that's in good standing and was created prior to the v4 launch date, you're eligible!

Format: Five randomly selected participants will initially deploy. On each successive turn another participant gets to deploy. After all participants have deployed, new signees will be able to deploy the turn after they sign up. Signups will remain open until one side falls. Prone time is 48 hours per side on initial deploy and all turns, 24 hours on successive deploys. Posts in the Away Thread will be ignored, so bring proxies if you have to step out momentarily. One prone and you're gone. Fight will open in 48 hours from the date of this post or as soon as I get five participants, whichever is later.

Rewards: 1500 Credits and 150 PP if you win. Even if you lose, however, the UWM will toss you 500 Credits and 50 PP in pity rewards as it rubs its' victory in your face.

Dragoon, Isaac, Mystyrio Storm, Umbaglo, and Mechalomaniac will be the five initial deployers to the event. They, along with the UWM (Tilus), have 48 hours from the time of this post to deploy. This fight, like all UWM fights, is open deploy. Further participants will be able to deploy the turn after they sign up (starting on player turn 2).

A barrier appears surrounding the unknown mecha, bending space around the mecha to deflect the brunt of the incoming attacks. A neon pink shield-like guard appears to severely hamper the initial angry blast from the shiny Gundam; while the non-energy attacks seem to have their impact further dampened by the shimmering outer coating of the UWM's armor. Maltiok, if you didn't see the notice above, you proned out. So that deploy of yours is completely for naught, I'm afraid.

Isaac, beam shields don't work that way. The extra beam negation doesn't negate damage per attack, only per attack phase.
