Base Defense Duty

A base that you've been assigned to protect is under attack! Hold out for ten minutes (turns) until reinforcements arrive! If all buildings are shot down, player side loses. This event is geared towards people still learning the basics of the Simchamber.

Player Units: Up to 3 of any rank + an equal number of allied Base Buildings. The GM may also deploy additional allied units to assist.

Enemy Units: Continuous waves of attacking units. The GM is encouraged to deploy units with a wide variety of abilities.

Items: Rank 1.

Time Limit: 3 weeks, all player units are destroyed, all allied Base Buildings are destroyed, or until 10 turns have passed.

Rewards: 100 Credits, 100 EXP. +50 Credits and +25 EXP per enemy kill. +500 Credits and +100 EXP if at least one allied Base Building remains standing after 10 turns.

Special: The Base Buildings and enemy units will be scaled to the player units' rank. You may only attempt this event if you have acquired fewer than 5 total levels across all pilots that you own. You may not attempt this event if you have previously attempted Base Defense Duty or Base Assault Duty.

  • Supply Dock: A player unit may pay 5 AP to regenerate 10% of your HP, DP, or EN during your next regeneration phase. The cost may be paid multiple times to regenerate a different resource.

Increase the Morale cost by 2 for every point of Skill the attacker has over your own Skill (to a maximum of +20 cost), and reduce the Morale cost by 2 for every point of Skill you have over the attacker (to a minimum cost of 0 Morale). Costs 20(15) Morale.
* Cover: Choose one Terrain you are within when you use this Will Command. If you make use of that Terrain's Cover effect, the Damage Received reduction is improved by 15%. Costs 20(15) Morale.
