You may only use this ability once per turn, and the new target may not be the original attacker.

...And I just now realized that two of my pilots are in fact illegal (in that they have three defining skills).

And since we're already a couple of turns into the fight, if it's okay with you, we can just have this fight ended here with nobody gaining rewards.
