Simulation Chamber v3.0: Mechalomaniac - Viewing Profile

Blame Avi for this. Zoids Generations is a model story series from Dengeki Hobby, much like a lot of the random Gundam stuff we have. It's sort of an AU version of Genesis, and there's actually more units than this, but they're not statable due to a lack of real information on them (there are basically pictures, and that's it) Anyway the first two units are actually from the mainline Zoid series, but two of the Generations units are variants, so I went ahead and statted them.

RPZ-12 Houndsoldier

This is a Helic Republic Zoid from the 80's. It's essentially meant to be a replacement to the Command Wolf. Bite Fangs are it biting you. Chase Missile Pod are uhhh...missiles. 3 Barreled Burst Cannon is a fancy name for three foward facing guns. Cross Lance are a pair of lances that deploy over the shoulder, though since this is a quadruped, it ramming you is still only going to be a single hit. Also a bit of fluff from Genesis (or at least the model line) mentioned it being a valuble Zoids since it's able to pierce Hell's Armor, thus the armor pierce. Finally Hound Buster Cannon is a large beam cannon mounted in its chest.


EHI-02 Black Rhimos

It's a Rhino Zoid with a Drill for a horn. This belongs under the Zenebas Empire thread. It's a scaled down, slightly faster Red Horn. Slightly. Anyway Ram is me feeling sorry for it and giving it a free attack. Plus Rhinos ram stuff. Guided Anti-Ground Missile, Double Barreled Shock Cannon, and Large Electromagnetic Cannon are what they sound like. Combat Ramming Super Drill (which probably sounds cooler in Japanese) is the aforementioned drill horn. It was mentioned that it too can pierce armor, so I gave it the ability to do so if you pump it enough.


Liger Zero Blue Souga Gusoku Myoko

Ok, the first real Generations unit. It's a Liger Zero with a special CAS that adds armoring and uhh...a Katana that it holds in its mouth. And a blade on it's tail. Liger Zero Blue Souga is treated as it's own unit as well, but honestly so far as I can tell it's just a normal old Liger Zero.


Rez Tiger

This thing was confusing since it's a variant on the Whitz Tiger which is a combiner, except this doesn't combine/separate so far as I can tell. It's essentially a red Whitz Tiger with a Metal Zi knife/short sword thingy that it holds in its mouth


Hound Soldier

This is a customized Houndsoldier called a Hound Soldier. The only real difference is a bit of extra armoring and a different set of lances on it's back.

Finally, a customized Black Rhimos. Yes, it's Hebby and not Heavy. Japan sucks at English apparently. This adds some more armoring, replaces the drill on the horn for a Gundam Hammer style mace made from Metal Zi, and a set of missile pods on it's hind legs.

So the Revoltech Neo Getter 1 made up a knife and a machine gun for it.

So in real life one design function of Shotels is to get around shields. I'm wondering if that might qualify Sandrock's (and anything else that has it) for Shield pierce.

Watching Jetman (which is the best sentai ever because it's a Gatchaman homage), I noticed Jet Garuda (their second robot) has an ability called Shadow Searcher that they used to spot an invisible Hammer Chameleon monster (all the monsters in the second half of Jetman are wannabe MMX villains). Anyway yeah it's like headgear or dowsing or something like that.

Evidence 01, 02, 03

Soiar Panel should probably be renamed to something else, to avoid confusion with the inherent. I'd suggest something like High Output Nuclear Reactor or something. This stems from the fact that the Moonlight Terrain currently disables Solar Panel, and while it could be altered to specify the inherent, the fact that the two could become confused remains.
